The Tricity region, including Gdańsk, Sopot, and Gdynia, is emerging as one of Poland’s key logistics hubs. With its prime coastal location and dynamic port infrastructure, Gdańsk is fast becoming a top destination for international trade and maritime logistics. As the region continues to expand, MDC2 is excited to announce the development of a new state-of-the-art logistics facility: MDC2 Park Gdańsk East.
This new warehouse project is strategically located in Koszwały, just 6.5 kilometres east of Gdańsk, near the Żuławy Zachód junction on the S7 route. The site will offer an 84,000 sqm warehouse within a single building, designed to support the growing demand for logistics services in the region. Preparatory works are set to begin in 2025, with the facility expected to play a crucial role in the region’s continued economic growth.
MDC2 Park Gdańsk East is ideally positioned to serve the growing needs of international and local businesses. The region’s proximity to the Baltic Hub Container Terminal, just 18 kilometres away, ensures easy access to one of Europe’s busiest ports. In 2023, the Gdańsk terminal handled over 600 vessels, including 105 ocean-going ships, and saw a steady increase in both rail and road traffic, with more than 6,700 trains and over 580,000 lorries passing through the terminal in 2024.
“The Tricity region’s strategic location, combined with the ongoing development of maritime infrastructure and transportation networks, makes MDC2 Park Gdańsk East an ideal location for logistics operations,” says Wojciech Kosiór, Head of Development at MDC2. “We’re excited to bring this project to life, contributing to the region’s economic growth and providing high-quality, energy-efficient facilities for our tenants.”
The facility will feature cutting-edge design and operational efficiency, with 12-meter-high storage spaces that will optimize storage processes and improve operational workflows. MDC2 Park Gdańsk East is also committed to sustainability, incorporating energy-saving solutions such as increased wall insulation, roofs designed for solar panel installation, electric car chargers, and rainwater retention systems.
The site will also feature green spaces, relaxation zones, and mini sports facilities to enhance the work environment for employees.
