Global real estate advisory firm Savills represented Michael Page in its lease renegotiation in the Lumen office building in Warsaw. Following its rapid growth, Michael Page, one of the world’s leading professional recruitment consultancies, decided to continue in its current location and to expand its office to 1250 sqm. The owner of the office building was advised in the transaction by JLL.
Michael Page specializes in recruitment of qualified professionals, mid-tier managers and senior executives. It has built a global presence with 140 offices in 36 countries worldwide. In Poland, Michael Page has regional offices in Katowice and Wrocław in addition to its Warsaw operations.
Michael Page will take up 400 sqm of additional office space at Lumen. Under the terms of the renewal, the firm’s present office will receive a makeover while the additional space will be adapted to its requirements in line with the latest interior design and work environment trends. The tenant was advised in the transaction by global real estate advisory firm Savills.
“With the currently tight labor market and falling unemployment, Poland is seeing increased demand for HR consultancy services. Michael Page also needed to expand its Warsaw office to accommodate its rapid growth. The building housing its head office boasts a prime location, which was the tenant’s key requirement. It also provides many parking spaces and guarantees convenient access by public transport for both the firm’s employees and job candidates coming to its office to go through recruitment processes,” said Dominik Reszetko, Senior Consultant, Office Agency, Tenant Representation, Savills.
Lumen, located at 59 Złota Street in Warsaw, is part of the multifunctional complex comprising the Złote Tarasy shopping centre and offers 23,500 sqm of office space. It is conveniently situated in the very heart of the capital city, right by the Central Railway Station and near Centrum underground station. Its tenants can also enjoy easy access to Złote Tarasy offering a high number of F&B and service facilities. JLL is the leasing agent for the office scheme.
Małgorzata Kaczmarek-Arseniuk, Senior Consultant, Office Agency, JLL, says: “Lumen is a long-term business destination for a number of reasons. It benefits from a prestigious location and excellent public transport links in the heart of the city and immediate vicinity of the Central Railway Station. The high quality of office space and retail, leisure and service facilities of Złote Tarasy make tenants want to stay in this office building longer and to take more space for further expansion.”
