OPmobility, a recognised leader in sustainable mobility and technology, has entered into a 4,270 sqm lease agreement for building B in the WITA complex in Krakow, developed by Echo Investment and Archicom.
“This agreement shows that companies pay attention not only to the area, but also to how the entire workplace environment is designed. At WITA, from the very beginning, we thought about how this place would work daily, what a working day, a break, a meeting, and going outside for a while would look like. We are glad that OPmobility has noticed this quality and decided on this project. I am convinced that the employees of the Kraków branch of the company will have good working conditions here, and at the same time, the opportunity to use the green, open space and functions that are an integral part of the entire destination project,” says Michał Żelski, Leasing & Asset Director at Echo Investment.
“Choosing a new office location is an important step for us. We were looking for a place that reflects our values – modern and respectful of the environment. The WITA project meets all these expectations and will be a strong base for us to continue developing innovations in safe and ecological transport,” says Irek Sikora, Program Purchasing Director, OPmobility.
The office buildings in WITA have been designed in accordance with BREEAM certification standards at the Excellent level.
WITA is a project implemented as part of Echo Group’s long-term strategy to create multifunctional destination projects inspired by the 15-minute city concept. It is the first in Krakow to combine residential, office, service and recreational functions in a single, coherent urban concept. The architectural concept referring to the historical heritage was developed by the Krakow-based office architects – MOFO Architekci.
The project is being implemented in stages. Currently, residential buildings have occupancy permits. After the construction of the structure, further intensive work is underway in the office part. According to the plan, the entire complex is to be ready in 2026.
