Panattoni secures financing for BTS in Łódź

Panattoni has secured €22.5 million in financing from Bank Pekao for a build-to-suit (BTS) project in Łódź for ZREW Transformatory. The funding will support the development of an advanced power transformer manufacturing plant.

“Łódź is one of Poland’s fastest-growing manufacturing and logistics hubs. This financing enables us to deliver a highly ambitious project that will strengthen the city’s industrial base, create jobs and support the energy transition. The new facility will double ZREW Transformatory’s production capacity and enhance local engineering capabilities. Despite its complexity, the project is being delivered within an exceptionally tight timeframe,” says Emilia Taczewska-Trojańska, Head of Debt Finance Poland at Panattoni.

The scheme will include a production hall with integrated office and staff facilities, tailored to the demanding assembly and testing processes of high-power transformers. Once complete, the plant will create around 200 jobs and significantly expand the company’s output.

Construction is scheduled for completion by the end of summer 2026, with production launching at the turn of Q3 and Q4. The facility will feature highly specialised technical solutions, including a hall up to 20 metres high, floors with a load capacity of up to 210 tonnes, and foundations capable of supporting up to 1,600 tonnes. The development will also target BREEAM Excellent certification, reflecting its strong sustainability credentials.
