Pevec, Croatian DIY and electronics retailer, has announced plans to invest about €2.6 million in the construction of a new retail complex in Bjelovar. The retailer is already operating a store on the same location but will now build a new modern centre which it will own.
The company has signed an agreement with Erste Bank for the purchase of land and the property which they are currently renting in Bjelovar. Once the project is completed, Pevec will relocate its existing store to the new building. In addition to retail space, the complex will also feature new office premises. Over 100 people will be working in the new building.
At present, Pevec operates 20 stores in 14 cities across Croatia. The chain offers a diverse assortment of more than 100,000 articles ranging from consumer electronics, white goods, furniture, lighting, textiles, DIY equipment and accessories.
Its brand portfolio features LG, Zanussi, Samsung, Sony, Bosch, Vivax, Tefal, Gorenje, Rowenta, Delimano and many other local and international brand names.
