Apsys Poland has recently presented an interactive visualization of Posnania mall in virtual reality (VR). The cutting-edge technology enables a detailed reflection of Posnania from the outside and inside. This also allows for seeing functionalities of the mall, which is presently being built in Poznań. The application has been created by Immersion.
A special application and Oculus Rift goggles enables a virtual visit to Posnania Center. Visitors can walk through valleys, see store windows and even enter stores. Field of view is fully spherical, allowing a user to look around in all directions, which creates the effect of full realism. Posnania can be seen at different times of a day and night, what additionally strengthens authenticity of the facility being currently built.
Application of virtual reality technology enables seeing Posnania’s architecture in 1:1 scale, both from inside and outside view. VR technology allows for seeing all functionalities and conveniences. When walking inside, one can feel the atmosphere of visiting Posnania.
The virtual walk has been prepared in order to support current and future tenants in business decision making. After wearing special goggles, one can see stores from different angles. This allows to better evaluate store’s location and its surroundings from a client perspective and against other brands.
Such solutions facilitates tenants decision making as to selection of store, best possible interior arrangements and brand exposure.
“We put an emphasis on innovativeness and convenience. Our experts of Apsys Lab develop pioneer solutions, which will distinguish Posnania from other facilities in Poland,” said Maciej Wróblewski, Vice Chairman of Apsys Poland.
“Virtual reality technology will revolutionize commercial market, therefore we wanted to be first. This is a great tool for building long-term relations with our current and future tenants, thereby supporting them in making optimal business decisions,” added Marek Błędowski, Commercial Director and Board Member of Apsys Poland.
“Virtual reality technology greatly supports real business. Thanks to a precise reflection of details and high-resolution animation, prospective tenants can see a non-existing yet building. This is what can be a decisive factor for leasing commercial space,” said Piotr Baczyński, CEO of Immersion.
Posnania is currently the largest ongoing retail investment in Poland and Central Europe worth €300 million. The mall is being built in Poznań and is slated for delivery in autumn 2016. The main investor is the Apsys Group, and the main contractors are Eiffage and Colas.
