Postępu 14 office building has received a BREEAM “Excellent” rating. This is already the third project developed in Warsaw by HB Reavis to be awarded this prestigious environmental certificate.
“Building according to BREEAM guidelines is our standard. I am proud that yet another project by HB Reavis received such a high rating. Our aim is to provide our tenants with high class solutions characterised not only by top quality craftsmanship and unique design, but also by reliability and comfort for users,” said Stanislav Frnka, CEO HB Reavis Poland.
One of the environmental solutions used in the complex is the state-of-the-art climate-control system. The amount of air in occupied areas will be by 35 percent greater than the standard, which will improve working comfort and at the same time generate substantial savings. Also, each room in the complex will feature an independent zone temperature control. The project also includes state-of-the-art high-speed lifts with LED lighting and brake energy regeneration technology. Furthermore, electric car charging stations, which are still a novelty to the Polish market, will also be available for tenants.
Another environment-friendly solution in the building is the water treatment station. It allows rainwater to be stored in retention tanks and used for technological processes. For example, the treated water is used in air moisturisers, which significantly reduces the cost of water from the municipal network and thus translates into lower bills for tenants. Additionally, the project features a sophisticated irrigation system for the vegetation around the building that also uses water from the retention tank. Another technology intended to maximise environmental and economic performance of the building is the free cooling system that will generate real savings in building operating costs.
Postępu 14 is a HB Reavis project located at the intersection of Postępu and Marynarska streets in Warsaw, offering over 34,000 sqm leasable space. The project of the building was developed by Hermanowicz Rewski Architekci office. Postępu 14 is scheduled for completion in the first half of 2015.
