Prize by Radisson has opened its first hotel in Poland. Prize by Radisson, Gdańsk: 125 rooms on Żabi Kruk Street, 300 meters from the Motława River, in one of the Baltic’s most walkable and culturally rich cities.
The opening marks the entry of Radisson Hotel Group’s midscale lifestyle brand into the Polish market – and Gdańsk, with its mix of history, design, gastronomy, and growing international appeal, is exactly the kind of city Prize was made for.
“Gdańsk is a city that people fall in love with the moment they start walking through it, and that’s exactly the kind of experience we want to support. Our role is to give guests a great place to start their day, a comfortable room to come back to, and a space on the ground floor where they feel welcome, whether they’re here for two nights or a full week. We want to make it easy for people to enjoy this city at their own pace, and that’s what Prize by Radisson does best,” says Joanna Jankowska, General Manager at Prize by Radisson, Gdańsk.
Prize by Radisson currently has 20 hotels in operation and under development across Europe. The Gdańsk opening follows the successful launch of Prize by Radisson Osnabrück City in late 2025 – the first hotel under the refreshed brand identity – and precedes further openings, including Wrocław and Berlin. Poland is part of a broader push to bring the midscale lifestyle concept to new markets where travellers are looking for well-designed, well-located, and fairly priced places to stay.
Joep Peeters, Chief Operating Officer Franchise EMEA, adds: “Poland is a market we’ve been looking at closely, and Gdańsk is exactly the right city to introduce Prize by Radisson here. There’s a growing demand from travellers who want quality, design, and a central location without the premium price tag, and that’s the space this brand was built for. The opening is an important step in our European expansion, and we’re already looking ahead to further Prize openings in Poland and beyond.
