RCBB Gruppe is celebrating seven years of sustained activity in Romania and Germany, reporting more than 100 completed construction projects. The group has recently finalised Phase III of the Silk District development and is now taking on new large-scale infrastructure projects. With a focus on quality, reliability, and client commitment, RCBB Gruppe continues to strengthen its position in the European construction market.
Seven years of impact in numbers
Over the past seven years, RCBB Gruppe has managed complex projects of significant scale. The company’s activity totals approximately:
- 320,000 m² of masonry, the equivalent of 45 football fields
- 65,000 tons of reinforcement steel, the equivalent of 3,200 fully loaded trucks
- 920,000 m² of slabs
- 1,050,000 m² of wall formwork
- 4,700,000 m³ of poured concrete
Strong presence in two markets
RCBB Gruppe operates simultaneously in two dynamic European markets. In Germany, the contractor has completed 70 construction sites and has 25 projects ongoing or contracted. In Romania, the company has delivered 32 construction sites and currently has 9 more in progress.
“RCBB Gruppe has grown through people. Numbers matter, but behind them is a team that works every day with professionalism and responsibility. Each project strengthens our conviction that we can build lasting landmarks — as long as we continue to put people first: from on-site teams to clients, suppliers, and the communities we serve,” said Dipl. Eng. Radu Balan, Managing Partner, RCBB Gruppe.
Expanding into infrastructure
This year, RCBB Gruppe marked a new strategic stage in its international development by expanding into infrastructure in both Germany and Romania. The contractor has already started work on a metro tunnel in Munich, in partnership with Berger Bau, and will soon begin building a highway bridge in Germany, in partnership with Max Bögl. In Romania, the company recently started construction on the Prut River bridge in Ungheni, commissioned by NESS PROIECT EUROPE.
These investments represent an important step in diversifying the portfolio and pave the way for the company’s involvement in strategic infrastructure works.
“When we started seven years ago, we believed in building a strong company founded on hard work, reliability, and respect for both our teams and our clients. Today, having delivered over 100 projects and working on landmarks such as Ruhr University Bochum, the new Vaslui hospital, and Silk District, we know we chose the right path. More than numbers, it is the trust of our partners and clients that motivates us to maintain our high standards of quality,” said Dipl. Eng. Codrin Botezat, Managing Partner, RCBB Gruppe.
