Red Bull Romania leased 600 sqm of office space in Unirii View and will establish its local office in the tallest modern office building in downtown Bucharest.
Unirii View is located on Corneliu Coposu Boulevard, only five minute walk from downtown Unirii Square, and will have 19 floors, including ground floor, 17 office floors plus a mechanical last floor and a generous underground parking, divided into three levels.
The construction of the project, due to be delivered in the summer of 2018, is advancing rapidly, now being undertaken works at the 14th level. The project will have a total gross leasable area of 17,500 sqm, and with a height that will reach 73 meters, will be the most visible building in downtown Bucharest.
”Unirii View and the downtown area continues to attract main headquarters, a normal fact taking into account the needs of companies looking for excellent visibility and good connections for their employees and we will see in the near future more companies taking the same decision,” said Andreea Păun, managing partner of real estate consultant Griffes, in charge with leasing strategy and commercial management for the project.
Red Bull was assisted in the transaction by real estate consultant Avision Young. ”We are happy to move in a ‘new home,’ modern and close to all the facilities we need for our employees,” stated Marius Grigore, General Manager Red Bull Romania.
Approximately 25 percent of Unirii View’s surface (4,000 sqm) was already pre-leased by the software services and solutions provider NTT Data Romania, which will also establish its Bucharest headquarter in the Unirii area, this being the first major IT&C company that chooses to rent offices in an central area of Bucharest.
With a free span on each floor of up to 12 m (and no intermediate structural columns), Unirii View achieves the largest column-free office space in Bucharest, obtained through groundbreaking post-tensioning techniques.
Unirii View is also the first real estate project in Romania that applied and obtained the sustainable green pre-certification BREEAM, with the Excellent rating, under the latest 2016 regulations.
Unirii View is a project developed by Yves Weerts after an investment of approximately €33 million. Yves Weerts is a Belgian national and real estate professional, with several other real estate investments undertook in Romania, among the development and successful sale of Deva Logistics Park to CTP investment fund.
The team behind Unirii View is completed by Westfourth Architecture in cooperation with DMA Architecture & Interior Design are bringing the architecture vision and design.
Speedwell Real Estate Development, through Didier Balcaen, is handling the development process and the project management of the building.
