The Bydgoszcz Glinki shopping centre will be redeveloped by Redkom Development, resulting in the construction of a modern retail park with Carrefour as the grocery tenant. The new retail destination with an area of about 16,000 sqm GLA, 25 shops and service outlets will offer residents a wide range of goods, from fashion to beauty, home, pet, DIY and medical clinics. Additional amenities will include 500 parking spaces. It is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2025.
“A retail park in Bydgoszcz with an operating Carrefour is the perfect place to re-establish itself in the minds of Bydgoszcz residents as the most attractive place to shop. The tenants we have already signed leases with and those we are currently talking to are very popular brands. They are attracting customers to their retail locations because of their very wide range of products, but also because Poles have grown fond of them and they have managed to become part of the canon of shops that are visited on every shopping trip to the retail park,” commented Elżbieta Kutrasińska, Senior Leasing Manager, Redkom Development.
“We are very pleased that our shopping centre in Bydgoszcz has found an investor who will completely transform the place. It is a location that is well known to the residents of the city and the region, and the planned redevelopment will attract many new customers to it. We are also pleased that the Carrefour shop will be among the tenants of the new facility. It will be a modern and convenient retail outlet that will combine the advantages of the current hypermarket and our format dedicated to retail parks. We have a lot of experience in running shops in such facilities and we are convinced that with our rich and diverse product offer, attractive prices and numerous shopping innovations, we will win the hearts of Bydgoszcz residents and become their favourite place to do their shopping in this part of the city,” commented Agata Kopytyńska, Director of Real Estate, Expansion and Assets and a member of the Carrefour Polska Executive Committee.
