After intensive months of construction, the Warsaw developer Refield announced the opening of Pasaż Kępiński – a modern retail park that is revolutionizing the commercial landscape in the Kępiński district. The new retail park is the result of cooperation with the architectural studio Pejot Studio and P.H.U. Gra-Mar, acting as the General Contractor.
Pasaż Kępiński has an area of nearly 12,000 sqm GLA consists of three buildings, offering a total of 21 modern commercial premises. The food operator Lidl, occupying a detached building with an area of over 2,200 sqm, is the main tenant of the park. The retail park also houses such brands as Rossmann and DM drugstores, Pepco chain store, Media Expert and Neonet, clothing stores such as Sinsay, Cropp, House, Big Star, 4F and Vera Moda, CCC shoe chain, Martes Sport sports store, the KAES multi-brand store, multi-sector discount stores such as Dealz and KiK, the Polish chain offering children’s products Smyk, Apart jewellery store, Gekon pet store and Home&You.
“We implement shopping malls in locations that need them most and provide convenient retail solutions in places with potential. Pasaż Kępiński corresponds perfectly to our strategy. This is a complete project – we believe that it will perform very well in the coming years. The investment in Kępno is more than a retail park – it is a new chapter for the city and its inhabitants,” emphasized Fabian Eryk Barbarowicz, President of the Management Board of Refield.
With the comfort of the park’s motorized customers in mind, a convenient parking lot for approximately 400 cars has been designed. Refield not only creates a modern commercial space but also focuses on sustainable development. An electric vehicle charging station was installed in the park, and the property obtained a BREEAM Certificate at the “Very Good” level.
Refield’s plans for next year include opening further facilities in Zwoleń and Lidzbark Warmiński. In the case of Zwoleń, it will be the first facility in the city, with an area of nearly 5,000 sqm GLA, while in Lidzbark Warmiński Refield will build the second stage of Pasaż Warmiński with an area of approx 3,500 sqm GLA. Further facilities are being planned and implemented in 2025.
