ROCO – the world’s first interactive roller coaster has now been launched in Poland, in Jelenia Góra at the Galeria Nowy Rynek shopping centre.
Daniel Johansson and Petter Hegnelius the founders of ROCO, commenting on the company’s latest success, said: “When we came up with the idea of creating an entertainment attraction just designed for shopping centres and public environments, we could never in our wildest imagination foresee that we now two years later have our interactive roller coaster in so many countries in Europe. Eighty thousand people of all ages in 6 months have had their ROCO ride. Seeing all these videos on social media of children, young people and adults and their happy faces when they are having a ride makes us very excited. It is with great enthusiasm we now produce and deliver 10 – 20 new ROCOs to new shopping centres around Europe every month. The fact that we have created a mini-attraction theme park on 4 sqm and put it out to make visitors happier is for us more than a dream come true. We could never have done this without all the fantastic centre and leasing managers and the people working with customers on a daily basis in all of our centres. Not to forget our fantastic employees who have all supported and helped us during this journey.”
