SIG, a specialist supplier of construction products, has renewed its lease for 4,400 sqm of warehouse and office space in Prologis Park Wrocław. The tenant was advised during lease negotiations by Newmark Polska.
More than 50 branches across Poland, over 156,000 products in its portfolio and 230 technical advisors and sales representatives – this is SIG in numbers, which boasts an almost 30-year-long presence in Poland. It is part of a UK-based international company founded in 1957 and listed on the London Stock Exchange. With its comprehensive product range, SIG targets both private and corporate clients. It decided to build an omnichannel strategy which led to the launch of SIG.pl in 2017, a modern B2B online platform offering access to products as well as additional functionalities for the construction industry.
“We are very pleased with our location in DC4 in Prologis Park Wrocław, where we take full advantage of the right logistics conditions which are key in distributing building materials, technical insulation products and HVAC equipment. Prologis has provided us with a modern warehouse and office space to ensure seamless deliveries and safe product storage. This is why we decided to continue here,” says Bogusz Kuszak, CFO and vice President of SIG.
“SIG is our long-standing client whom we have supported in warehouse and office space leasing across Poland. It has now decided to extend its lease with Prologis, the owner of SIG-occupied properties in Wrocław. Several factors were at play in SIG’s decision to remain in the complex – these included the landlord’s flexibility, attractive commercial conditions and the fact that SIG’s business partners are familiar with this location. We would like to thank Prologis for swift negotiations and partnership approach to the tenant,” says Jakub Dudkiewicz, Senior Associate, Industrial and Warehouse Department, Newmark Polska.
SIG leases space in DC4 in Prologis Park Wrocław, a logistics facility situated 15 km from the centre of Wrocław. This location is attractive to tenants on account of not only its proximity to the A4 motorway (facilitating seamless logistics on the route Berlin-Wrocław-Kraków-Ukraine) but also the S5 and S8 expressways. The complex also enjoys easy access to public transport and offers other employee amenities.
