The Sizeer chain of multibrand stores offering clothes, shoes and sports accessories has leased 141 sqm in the Blue City shopping centre, located in Warsaw’s Ochota district. The tenant was advised in the transaction by Colliers International.
Blue City is a modern shopping and entertainment centre, located at 179 Aleje Jerozolimskie in Warsaw. The site offers over 65,000 sqm of retail space, around 200 shops and service outlets, as well as 25 restaurants and coffee shops. Blue City was a pioneer in the shopping centres market in Poland by paying full attention to a diversified portfolio of tenants. Openings of new stores, such us the latest IKEA concept store, the eight-screen flagship Helios cinema and the largest fitness club Fit/One have contributed to the high popularity of the centre, which has not been undermined even by the Sunday trading ban.
“Every new tenant adds value to the centre. In Blue City we cooperate with top, well-known brands and we try to diversify our offer. Thanks to this, our customers can shop in one place, use different services or attractions as well as spend time with family or friends. Sizeer perfectly suits the retail offer of Blue City. I am convinced that its range of goods will meet the taste of the centre’s customers,” says Anna Gut, Director of Leasing at Blue City.
“The key to the success of a shopping centre’s development is a diverse offer and adjusting to the constantly changing needs of users. The right choice of tenants increases the chances of standing out from the competition. The presence of the well-known and liked Sizeer brand will definitely make Blue City an even more popular shopping centre,” says Małgorzata Kobziakowska, Director in the Retail Agency at Colliers International.
Sizeer has been focusing on dynamic growth in the CEE region for over 10 years. It offers a number of streetwear, global and original brands, including Nike, Adidas, Puma, New Balance, Reebok, Lacoste, Timberland, ASICS, Vans, New Era and Confront. The chain currently has over 150 stores located in Europe.
“The opening our store in Blue City complements Sizeer’s presence in Warsaw, where for many years we have been delivering the best products to our customers. Our offer is made up mainly of world-recognized brands in the sport-lifestyle segment. We have achieved full coverage in Warsaw’s shopping centres in the premium category, and our customers will now have another place where they can experience modern shopping based on a careful selection of products, adjusted in terms of current trends in fashion and the season. We strongly believe that our presence in Blue City will supplement the comprehensive character of this centre,” says Andrzej Osika, Board Member of Marketing Investment Group S.A., owner of the Sizeer brand.
