Sonae Sierra, an international company dedicated to developing and servicing vibrant retail centred properties, was recently awarded with three prestigious European awards. At the 12th Annual SEE Real Estate Awards in Bucharest, Romania, Sonae Sierra won the prize for the Best Retail Developer. ParkLake, recently opened in September 2016, received the Best Retail Project of the Year in South Eastern Europe. Additionally, on the same evening, but in Prague, at the CIJ HOF Awards 2017, ParkLake was amongst the Best of Best category and won the award for Best Retail Development & Developer across CEE & SEE region.
The EuropaProperty SEE Real Estate Awards is the longest and only event of its kind bringing local and international professionals to meet and discuss opportunities in the SEE region. The award recognises quality of design, quality of construction and the construction processes in relation to costs, environmental concerns, accessibility and location, with further consideration being given to the commercial success and durability of the project.

ParkLake represents €180 million in investment opened in September 2016. The centre has a unique offer of tenants and a distinctive mix of leisure and sports features connected with the adjoining Titan Park.
Sonae Sierra and Caelum Development were awarded amongst the top performers this year representing the most outstanding and accomplished projects and companies throughout the SEE and CEE region in 2016.The members of the jury are all experienced real estate professionals and are from every sector of the commercial real estate and retail industries in the region.
