Marriott to Open Three Hotels in Romania by 2029
Marriott International will open three new hotels in Romania over the next five years, in partnership with local investor Pritax Invest: Sibiu: Courtyard by Marriott Sibiu Downtown (81 rooms, 3 conference rooms, restaurant, and spa) will open in Q2 2026. Timișoara: Courtyard by Marriott (208 rooms, 4 conference halls) near Iulius Town will open in 2029. Cluj-Napoca: Four Points by Sheraton (109 rooms, conference halls, and restaurant) will open in 2027. These projects will strengthen Marriott’s presence in Romania, where it currently operates six hotels.
Resi4Rent Expands in Łódź
Resi4Rent, Poland’s largest subscription housing operator, has opened 287 new apartments in Łódź. This is the second Resi4Rent development in the city. The company plans to deliver over 2,200 new subscription apartments across Poland this year, aiming for a total of 10,000 by 2025. The company operates in six major Polish cities. “Łódź has experienced some of the highest growth in demand for rental housing, both in the private and institutional segments. Contributing factors include a large population, a significant immigrant and refugee community, an attractive job market, and an active academic centre,” says Sławomir Imianowski, CEO of Resi4Rent.
The OTO Park Network is Growing
Falcon Investment Management is expanding with two new retail projects in Dęblin and Sandomierz and plans to enlarge the existing OTO Park in Kłodzko. In Dęblin the OTO Park will replace an old marketplace. The 4,000 sqm retail space will open in late 2025. In Sandomierz a 7,000 sqm shopping center featuring fashion brands and a grocery operator. Expected to open by the end of 2025. The Kłodzko Expansion will add 1,700 sqm to the existing OTO Park, bringing in new brands. The project should be finished by mid-2025. These projects support Falcon’s strategy to expand in cities with strong shopping potential. The company currently manages over 62,000 sqm of retail space across several Polish cities.
