Catella and DWS receive double platinum certifications for multi-family housing complex
Greenpoint, a multi-family housing complex, has been awarded the first DGNB Platinum green-building rating for a Built-To-Rent project in Copenhagen and the first WiredScore Home Platinum certificate in Denmark for its digital connectivity. The complex includes 445 affordable rental apartments designed for multi-generational living.
The project is a joint venture between Catella, DWS, and Nordkranen. The construction of the complex started in 2022 and the first 65 units will be available for leasing in June 2024, with completion targeted by the end of 2025.

TMS Inwestycje acquires the Holiday Inn Resort Warszawa Józefów
Greenberg Traurig represented TMS Inwestycje in the 148-room Hotel Inn Resort Warszawa Józefów transaction from Aquila Group. The transaction included the real property and a stake in Aquila Hotele, which operates the Holiday Inn Resort Józefów.

Dom Development launches Mokotów Sportowy project
Dom Development is beginning construction of the Mokotów Sportowy project a new residential district in Warsaw. The company plans to build at least 1,300 apartments on the site, while the neighbourhood has the potential for 10,000 apartments.
The site is covered by a zoning plan that, in addition to residential construction, also foresees numerous services, schools, cultural facilities and recreational areas, as well as an extensive network of streets and a tram line. Three buildings will be constructed in Phase 1 of the project, with 155 apartments, and the first residents will move into their new homes in the 1st quarter of 2026.
Jarosław Szanajca, CEO of Dom Development, commented: “We are committed to implementing all of the principles of a 15-minute city. A huge advantage of the site is the extensive green recreational areas, rarely found so close to the city centre.”
Ground-breaking ceremony held for MLP Business Park Vienna
MLP Group celebrated the beginning of construction work on the MLP Business Park Vienna. The ground-breaking ceremony was attended by representatives of general contractor Goldbeck Rhomberg and MLP Group and Karl Gasta, deputy head of Vienna’s 22nd district.
“This former industrial site adjacent to the city centre lay fallow for a long time. Now, thanks to extensive redevelopment this area is being transformed into needed new space,” said Karl Gasta, Deputy Head of Vienna’s 22nd district.
“Our investment in Vienna is generating significant interest. We have already secured our first agreement with a future tenant,” stated Peter Falb, Chief Country Officer of Austria at MLP Group.
Once completed, the project will consist of four buildings with a total area of 53,600 sqm. This city logistics development project is scheduled for completion in early 2025.
