The second stage of construction Galeria Młociny in Warsaw will start in October, and the leasing process is in full swing. The modern retail and entertainment complex is situated in the Bielany district of the city, next to the Młociny transport hub, which includes a metro station.
Erbud, the general contractor has been working on the site since the end of August and is proceeding with preparing the plot and the subterranean infrastructure, according to schedule.
“We are about to start ground work and the construction of diaphragm walls. The next step will be to lay the foundations. Before we can do that however, we need to remove around 600,000 sqm of earth from the site. This is equivalent 10 football fields covered with a layer of earth 10 metres deep which is equivalent to four storeys of a residential building,” said Roland Łopuszyński, Project Coordinator, Master Mangement Group. “This stage will take about six months. Everything is proceeding according to schedule and the end of the project is planned in the autumn of 2018,” he added.
“At the same time we are in talks with potential tenants in order to provide a wide selection of retail brands, services and leisure facilities to the people living in Młociny and around 40,000 people from Bielany, Żoliborz, Bemowo, Łomianki and Białołęka, who use the Młociny transport every day. We are about to announce new exciting brands who have chosen Galeria Młociny,” said Michał Masztakowski, Development & Leasing Director at Master Management Group.
