Trei Real Estate Poland, an international developer of commercial and residential real estate, has started the implementation of its first investment in Poland in the PRS (Private Rented Sector). The estate located in Poznań is set to be ready in 2025. The developer plans to build 450 apartments, which will be available in the institutional lease formula.
The investor is preparing a plot of land at Piątkowska Street, on which a residential complex entirely intended for rent will be built. Currently, the developer is conducting the process of relocation of the Biedronka supermarket, which is located on the land purchased. Strabag is responsible for all works related to the construction of a new property for Biedronka and the demolition of the facility at Piątkowska Street.
“The process of relocation of the Biedronka supermarket is the first step that will bring us closer to the implementation of the main part of the multi-stage PRS investment in Poznań. At the beginning of next year, we plan to start the construction of the first phase of the complex. As part of this stage, we will build two buildings that will provide a total of over 300 apartments for rent,” commented Jacek Wesołowski, Managing Director of Trei Real Estate Poland.
Poznań PRS will deliver a total of 450 apartments for rent located in three buildings. The investment is distinguished by its location – located between the Winiary and Winogrady housing estates, near the Citadel Park, university campuses of Poznań universities, but also in close proximity to the city centre, the Old Market Square and numerous commercial facilities, which means that tenants have the entire city’s offer at their fingertips.
Trei Real Estate has been present in Poland since 2008. The developer started its activity with the construction of retail parks, the first of which he opened in 2013 in Nysa. Currently, it has 29 properties of this type in its portfolio, which it is building under the Vendo Park brand and is planning further projects. In 2019, the investor also debuted on the Polish housing market and purchased a plot of land along with a residential development project in Wrocław. The Bacciarellego 54 housing estate, which Trei is developing in this place, will provide a total of 278 apartments. Currently, the developer is building the third and fourth stages of this investment. Trei also has in its portfolio the Kraft housing estate in Łódź, the first stage of which has just obtained an occupancy permit. Both of these projects offer apartments for sale. The investor’s plans include further projects in the residential sector in Warsaw.
“In Poznań, we are preparing a pilot investment in the PRS sector, in which we plan to develop our business. However, we will not give up building apartments for sale. We have experience in this market, our investments have achieved very good sales results, and we have also built a very good team. In these two sectors, we will build simultaneously,” summed up Jacek Wesołowski.
