In the business district of the capital city of Poland, the Vienna House Mokotow Warsaw opened. Located close to the airport, the hotel is aimed primarily at business travellers, but also visitors who appreciate industrial design, lively lobby culture, creative meeting opportunities and first-class food.
Poland is an increasingly attractive country for the conference market and international business. This year it was promoted to the group of developed countries in the FTSE Russell index. In 2017 the Polish conference market grew by 11 percent and Polish airports served 17 percent more passengers than in the previous year. Warsaw, the capital city of Poland, is an increasingly popular business travel destination, and the Mokotów/Służewiec district is the largest office centre with many international companies already established. A booming district, ideal for another Vienna House in Poland.
“Opening the hotel in Warsaw was an obvious step for us. The decision to choose Mokotów was not accidental. It is the place where the business life of the capital city of Poland flourishes and which still does not have a sufficient number of hotel and catering facilities,” stresses Rupert Simoner, CEO of Vienna House. “The Vienna House Mokotow Warsaw will not be a conventional hotel. It will be a place where business travellers – besides their work – can experience a great time. Whether in the casual lobby bar, the fitness area with city views, the Greenhouse restaurant, the piazza, or a creative meeting set-up. The equipment is high quality and the focus is on sustainable development, smart technology, free high-speed WiFi and a design that reflects the industrial past of the district. A lot of greenery and places conducive to co-working, as well as healthy food trends that are fun, are the hallmark of the hotel,” adds Marta Karteczka, General Manager of the Vienna House Mokotow Warsaw.
The Vienna House Mokotow Warsaw is located only 10 minutes by car from the Warsaw Chopin Airport. Its services have been designed with a high level of comfort for business guests who appreciate modern technological solutions, premium quality and care for the environment. And for the design-conscious adventurer among them, the hotel combines the industrial character of the district with modern design trends and a trendy zeitgeist. Concrete and steel elements are juxtaposed with lush greenery and floor-to-ceiling windows, which gives the feeling of being outdoors in a natural environment.
At any point guests can choose between being social and spending time on their own. They can check in and out online via a smartphone, at one of the check-in stations or in a standard way at the reception desk. Information about the attractions in the surrounding area can be obtained either from the receptionist or via the mobile concierge. This feature is available after logging in to the free high-speed WiFi network. The inviting lobby is connected to the bar, restaurant and conference area. The bar is a central meeting point and the co-working areas are designed to allow plenty of space for smaller meetings, relaxed work and privacy.
Creative meetings in a perfect atmosphere
“Anyone who experiences the creative meeting zone will never again want to enter a traditional meeting room,” says Marta Karteczka. “The concept that we offer at all Vienna House hotels is a great change in everyday conference life. We want to ensure our guests are totally satisfied. We therefore use smart and creative facilities and special breaks to create a unique, uncomplicated and relaxed atmosphere.”
The conference area consists of four rooms covering 180 square meters. Three of the rooms can be freely combined, while parts of the lobby and restaurant can be flexibly integrated as a foyer. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood each room with sunlight at any time of year. Healthy, sustainable and fresh products are served during the breaks in a unique presentation and provide a dose of energy for participants. Its location in the very heart of the Warsaw business district makes the organisation of meetings in this facility an ideal option for companies looking for non-standard venues for conferences or training sessions. 50 underground parking places are a further benefit for meeting organizers and business guests.
Hospitality and Rooms
Guests can choose from a variety of breakfast options. Those who are in a hurry to catch a morning plane can use the “grab & go” option. This option is available Monday to Friday from 5.30am. Guests who have more time can enjoy a rich breakfast buffet offering healthy and fresh juices and smoothies, home-made preserves and regional products. The Greenhouse restaurant offers first-class steaks as well as vegetarian dishes made from fresh, regional ingredients.
All 164 rooms have 2.10 m long beds and a work desk placed in a separate part of the room. Superior rooms are additionally equipped with a chaise longue and coffee table or sofa-bed and a designer coffee machine. 6 rooms are designed for allergy sufferers, and 19 rooms can be connected to the adjacent room. The interior design combines concrete and steel with natural materials such as wood and wool in warm colours. The Smart TVs have an intelligent control system, and the designer bathroom is a small spa area. These room features allow you both to focus on your work and to relax in your free time.
All rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows. The same is true for the fitness studio on the sixth floor, where guests can indulge in strength and cardio training with views over Mokotow.
