Vorwerk Polska, a supplier of household appliances including a multifunctional machine Thermomix and the Kobold homecare system, has leased office and retail space in the Giant Office complex in Poznań. The owner of the building was represented in the lease transaction by real estate advisory firm Savills.
Vorwerk was founded in Wuppertal, Germany, in 1883 and remains headquartered there. Over the course of its history spanning over 130 years, it has grown into a global company with operations in more than 70 countries. Vorwerk’s core business has focused on direct sales of high-quality household appliances. Vorwerk has been present in Poland since 1995 and has its head office in Wrocław.
During the 25 years of the presence of Thermomix on the Polish market, more than 700,000 customers have bought one. Thermomix TM6, the fifth model of this multifunctional kitchen machine, is now available in Poland.
“Thanks to its innovative technologies, Thermomix TM6 has revolutionised daily life, enabling fast, economical, healthy and easy meal preparation. It also helps to unleash cooking diversity and creativity, and to plan menus with digital access to several thousand inspiring recipes on Cookidoo, a platform with cooking recipes for this machine,” says Wojciech Ćmikiewicz, CEO, Vorwerk Polska.
Vorwerk Polska has also recently started distribution of the Kobold homecare system in several Polish provinces: Lower Silesia, Masovia, and Kuyavia-Pomerania.
Vorwerk’s regional office in Poznań measures close to 445 sqm. It will serve the needs of the firm’s sales representatives and hold customer meetings in the future.
“Giant Office, which was completed in the spring, is the only new office project delivered to the Poznań market in 2020. That’s why it naturally attracts interest from occupiers looking for office space, as well as F&B units and retail stores,” says Piotr Skuza, Regional Manager, Office Agency, Savills.
The latest office project in the capital of the Greater Poland province is located at the corner of Górki and Głogowska streets, well-known for many retail and service outlets. Giant Office offers 15,310 sqm of modern office space, 1,815 sq m of retail space and 440 sqm of restaurant space. It also has a 227-space underground car park. The complex has received a BREEAM certificate with a Very Good rating.
Giant Office has been developed by Giant Invest. Savills is the sole office and retail space letting agent for the building. The tenant was represented in the transaction by Walter Herz.
