Warsaw Trade Tower (WTT) has become a partner supporting the 4th Nationwide Diversity Day (NDD): the biggest annual initiative of the Responsible Business Forum (RBF) devoted to diversity management in the workplace. The event will take place on 24 May, 2017 in the Panorama Room on the 35th floor of Warsaw Trade Tower. This year’s edition’s slogan is Workplace: Where Generations Meet and its main subject is managing age in a business. Among others, professor Magdalena Środa and professor Izabela Warwas have confirmed their participation as speakers during the event.
Nationwide Diversity Day is an initiative conducted by Responsible Business Forum in the framework of a European programme called Diversity Charter. This year’s conference’s slogan is Workplace: Where Generations Meet and it will be devoted thoroughly to age diversity in the workplace. The event will take place for the fourth time, however for the first time in Warsaw Trade Tower. The involvement of WTT’s owner: the Akron Investment Central Eastern Europe II fund and its asset manager: the Heitman company, is a part of a strategy in accordance with which modernisation and rebranding processes that go in line with the tenants’ needs have been successfully implemented. With employee well-being at the core of the changes and the slogan People First, the office building has once again set standards and put people in the centre.
Izabella Kapil, Vice President Portfolio Management – Europe in Heitman commented on WTT’s involvement in the Nationwide Diversity Day: “The event organised by Responsible Business Forum is a chance to understand and make proper use of age diversity in the workplace. A new look at the issue can provide employers with plenty of benefits. The correct use of resources and skills of your employees is the key to success. We hope for high turnout, also among our tenants and then she adds: We have invited Responsible Business Forum to organise Nationwide Diversity Days in Warsaw Trade Tower to meet the needs of our tenants, who see their workplace as space for a diverse business community: also diverse when it comes to age.”
The 4th Nationwide Diversity Day will consist of discussions and speeches (by professor Izabela Warwas and professor Magdalena Środa among others), workshops on the introduction to age and diversity management in a business, as well as a special training session for NGOs and SMEs. Additionally, creative workshops whose aim will be to find a new name for 50+ employees have been planned. The winners of Responsible Business Forum’s award called People who changed business will also be announced. This year’s new category is Diversity. The event will end with music workshops.
Participation in the 4th Nationwide Diversity Day is free of charge. A detailed programme including the information about the venue, the guests and the application form for the meeting and the workshops can be found on http://odpowiedzialnybiznes.pl/odr2017/
