YIT starts new project in Kraków

The Finnish developer YIT has launched its next project in the capital of Małopolska: Nordic Górka Narodowa. Located on Stefan Banach Street, this first phase of the residential complex will add nearly 100 new apartments to Kraków’s housing market. Completion of construction is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025. The main contractor is Ekspres-Konkurent, and the project was designed by the UCEES architectural studio.

“Expanding our operations in Kraków is one of our priorities. Following the successful launch of Portowa Zabłocie, our debut project in the city, we decided to proceed with another initiative – Nordic Górka Narodowa. This unique residential complex in our portfolio will undoubtedly stand out with its distinctive architecture, high-quality workmanship, and sustainable solutions,” said Anna Wrzecionko, Managing Director of YIT in Poland.

YIT is committed to making the construction process as environmentally friendly as possible. Waste monitoring will be in place, and the construction site will be powered by eco-friendly energy sources. The area surrounding the complex also includes ample green spaces, such as Witkowice Forest Park and Żabie Doły. Greenery will also be plentiful within the development, covering 30 percent of the plot area and providing a scenic backdrop for communal spaces. Relaxation and social zones have been designed following YIT’s signature concept, “More Life in Yards.”
