OEConnection LLC (OEC), the leading automotive technology provider for original equipment manufacturers’ (OEM) distribution networks, is pleased to announce that it has leased a 3,000 sqm office space in the Wadowicka 3 office building, completed by BUMA Group close to the heart of Krakow, demonstrating the company’s commitment to grow its workforce in the city. The company expects to occupy the new space in early 2019. Knight Frank advised OEC in the leasing process.
Currently, OEC employs 240 people who work from two separate office locations. “Moving to this new space will definitely help align our teams and build a more unified company culture,” said Paul Johnson, Executive Vice President of Global Transformation at OEC. “In addition, we now have room to expand and hire more employees, as the demand for our software solutions increases across the globe.”
Recognizing that the job market in Krakow is highly competitive, Johnson noted that the office will feature “relax zones,” large kitchens, collaborative workspaces, and more. “We hope that with our state-of-the-art office space, we can attract talented employees to grow their career with us,” Johnson said.
OEC is working with Knight Frank and BUMA Group to develop the space at Wadowicka office building. “OEC’s commitment to the city of Krakow is another example of the global appeal of Krakow to companies seeking to expand their presence. We are excited to have OEC as part of a flourishing job market in the city,” said Hamish Potts, Associate Director at Knight Frank.
OEC will take almost one third of one of three buildings within the Wadowicka 3 office complex which is being completed by Buma Group, offering in total 31,000 sqm of office space. BUMA Group, as ever, has endeavoured to ensure modern architecture and perfect technical solutions of the facility.
