On Thursday 5th September, during a ribbon-cutting ceremony, 7R Park Tczew officially opened. The joined 7R and Hillwood project consists of two industrial buildings totalling around 46,700 sqm occupied by Dovista group, Swiss company Huber+Suhner and others.
The key asset of the park is its’ strategic location in the North of Poland – only 40 km South of Gdańsk, at a crossing of 91 and 244 national roads and in close vicinity of A1 motorway at Swarożyn junction. This enables easy access to the main traffic routes in Poland and easy products transportation to local and foreign markets.
“The Pomeranian market is a significant component of the 7R’s growth strategy. Ten years ago we have built our first warehouse in this region. We are very pleased we can continue developing our facilities here and together with Hillwood Polska, our long term partner, make the most of this part of the country. Based on the growing demand for industrial space in this region 7R is already planning three more buildings here,” says Ryszard Gretkowski, 7R Vice President.
7R Park Tczew is another of 7R and Hillwood joint project. Thanks to Hillwood Polska’s own financing, they can get involved with joint venture projects adding their experience in the investment management process. This way both companies expand their customers’ and industrial space portfolio in the Polish dynamic market.
“Thanks to 7R and Hillwood partnership, the tenants were sure that the park will be delivered on time and in accordance with all principals. We use both companies’ potential to the full extent, strengthening our presence in such perspective market as Pomeranian,” says Hubert Michalak, Hillwood Polska President.
7R Park Tczew is located in the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone (PSSE) which is a significant advantage from a local business development point of view.
“We are hoping that the opening of such a big project, right at Swarożyn motorways junction, will invite more investments like this into the area. From the municipality perspective, we are delighted to be hosting such an important and well-recognised partner as 7R SA. Welcome to our municipality and we wish you all the best in business and fully occupied facilities,” adds Krzysztof Augustyniak, Tczew Municipality Mayor.
Real estate experts have recognised 7R Park Tczew and shortlisted it with other finalists for the Prime Property Prize 2019 in “Investment of the Year: Warehouse and Logistics Space Market” category.
