Apleona GVA extends project management contract for the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Krakow on behalf of Invesco – EuropaProperty

Apleona GVA, awarded as the Hotel Advisory Firm of the Year 2017 at the CEE Investment Awards, has extended a contract with the asset owner Invesco Real Estate, a global real estate investment manager, for the project management of the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Krakow.

The Apleona GVA team, led by Grzegorz Kaleta, Director of Hotel Advisory and Technical Advisory, was initially responsible on the property for technical due diligence during Invesco Real Estate’s acquisition process. Currently Apleona GVA is serving technical advisory for the landlord including participation with the hotel’s operator in technical budget preparation and coordination, identification of potential investments and improvements, as well as full project management of jointly selected and approved by landlord CAPEX refurbishment projects, etc.
Sheraton Grand is perceived as one of the best hotels in Krakow and a unique Sheraton hotel acknowledged “Grand” in Poland, with a central location in the city and a picturesque view of the Wawel and Vistula river. The property offers its guests 232 rooms of which those of premium class were fully refurbished in 2016, according to the projects prepared by well-known London-based architect – Alex Kravetz.
