Arthrex Polska – the Polish division of an orthopedic medical device company – will relocate to Astrum Business Park located in the Włochy district of Warsaw. The company has leased 540 sqm of modern office space along with 135 sqm of industrial space.
Arthrex will relocate to its new office in July 2017. Experts from JLL represented Arthrex in the process of selecting the new office location for the company.
“We were searching for a modern and spacious office that would allow our company to develop even further,” said Robert Wiśniewski, General Manager, Arthrex Polska Sp. z o.o. “In addition, we also sought industrial space that is necessary for our company because of the specificity of our business activity. Astrum Business Park is able to meet all these requirements. The project is located on the crossroads of Aleje Jerozolimskie and Łopuszczańska Streets and in close proximity to WKD Raków station. All this constitutes an additional advantage for our new office location.”
Adam Bechciński, Consultant, Tenant Representation, JLL, said: “We are delighted with the opportunity to advise Arthrex during the company’s rapid growth. The location of the scheme, its standard and the available amenities make Astrum Business Park an excellent office address for a company that continues to develop its structures and expands its business activity on the Polish market.”
Astrum Business Park offers over 22,000 sqm of modern office space. Once its second phase is completed, it will offer a total of 30,000 sqm. Prochem S.A. – the co-investor, designer and general contractor for the investment – will ultimately provide its tenants with 800 parking places of which 650 will be located in a two-storey underground garage. Furthermore, the company is also planning to introduce a charging station for electric cars and infrastructure for cyclists.
The building is located in the Włochy district of Warsaw and in close proximity to a Warsaw Commuter Railway station – WKD Raków. Furthermore, the scheme is located on the crossroads of the two main arterial roads that link the Eastern districts of Warsaw with its Śródmieście borough. In addition, the city centre and Warsaw Chopin Airport are only 15 and 10 minutes away respectively by public transport. Astrum Business Park is located near the main route to Kraków, Katowice and Łódź.
“Our company has been operating on the market for 70 years now,” said Krzysztof Marczak, Vice-President of the Board at Prochem S.A. “We specialize not only in industrial investments but also modern office buildings, such as Astrum. Apart from following the recent trends in construction, we always take ecological aspects into account. Therefore, our projects are developed with a focus on their potential impact on the environment. As for Astrum Business Park, this is confirmed by BREEAM FINAL “Very Good” certificate.”
