Cromwell Property Group, a global real estate investment manager, is pleased to announce the completion of the first stage of its modernization of Wiśniowy Business Park office complex at 1. Sierpnia street in Warsaw. The initial work covered the renovation of common areas in buildings D, E and F and further renovation work is already underway to improve the area surrounding the buildings. Once complete in August-September 2017, Cromwell Property Group will have transformed the business park, raising its attractiveness to both present and future tenants and their employees.
Stage one has created several spacious atria, one of the unique aspects of Wiśniowy Business Park’s new architecture, and included a revamp of the lobbies and reception halls. The modern character and upgraded functionality have made these areas even more user-friendly for companies located in the complex. With the convenience of users and their guests in mind, the atria have been furnished with tables, ottomans and comfortable designer couches equipped with electrical outlets, allowing people waiting to use the facilities the flexibility to work on laptops or recharge mobile phones. The lighting has also been upgraded with modern, bespoke lighting systems.
The new design includes plans to improve and extend the existing bicycle infrastructure at Wiśniowy Business Park with additional parking spaces and fast bike repair points. Employees who commute every day on their bikes will be able to use the showers and changing facilities.
The investor has also planned a radical transformation of the land surrounding the buildings. The 2.5-hectare green area will be transformed into a park with more than 24 species of trees, bushes and grasses, as well as areas for relaxation and recreation. The park will incorporate several leisure features including an eight-point fitness track equipped with exercise machines and a specially marked area for Pétanque players. An apiary will provide a haven for bees in an expression of support for the global green initiative to save bees from extinction.
A central square connected to the park will be a unique element of the new landscaping scheme of the area around buildings E and F. It will be fitted out with stands for up to four street food vendors, a tribute to the employees who will be pleased to see this extension of the culinary variety available at Wiśniowy Business Park.
“Good addresses really do not get old,” says Maciej Gołębiewski, Cromwell Poland’s director of leasing and office portfolio management, “The design of Wiśniowy Business Park, a work of British architects from Fitzroy Robinson International, is still perceived by the industry as visionary among Poland’s modern office parks. It is often referred to as an example of a well-designed office scheme offering the highest standard of finishing and a highly functional infrastructure.”
The building is perfectly located with easy access both from the city centre and the airport.
Motorists will be able to park in 1,392 parking spaces and electric vehicles will be able to charge in one of several planned charging stations.
The C, D, E and F buildings, which have a total leasable area of 46,600 sqm, are rated BREEAM “Very Good”.
