Global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield has adopted a flexible work model which empowers its employees in Poland to manage their time freely and responsibly and to enjoy a work-life balance.

The decision to adopt the flexible and remote work model was made on the basis of insight from job interviews and the findings of regular employee engagement surveys at Cushman & Wakefield. As many as 80 percent of respondents cited flexible employment as one of the most important benefits. This almost overlaps with global and market research indicating that 70 percent of employees having an opportunity to work remotely will do so consciously.
The flexible and remote work model offers multiple benefits
In the flexible work model, employees have an opportunity to tailor their working hours to their individual needs and productivity peaks. This solution also enables them to maintain a work-life balance, which improves employee satisfaction.
Fewer commutes means less carbon dioxide emissions to the atmosphere, which also has a positive effect on the natural environment. And that’s more time and money saved.
Trust is fundamental to any organisation. An employer embracing the flexible work model will emphasise that the success of its roll-out will undoubtedly be underpinned by trust and partnership between superiors and their teams.
