Goodman Group has signed a new lease agreement with Coindu for a 3,458 sqm logistics facility at Goodman Senec Logistics Centre in Slovakia.
Coindu, established in 1988, works exclusively in the automobile components sector, producing and supplying leather, fabric and PVC upholstery. It also produces interior accessories, such as armrests, headrests and door panels.
“Coindu selected Goodman Senec Logistics Centre for its strategic location, the quality of the technical specifications proposed for the new facility and the technical and operational support from Goodman,” said Filipe Ribeiro, Purchasing Group Manager, Coindu.
The agreement with Coindu was signed only one month after the construction of the speculative unit in building B was complete. This is the latest of six lease agreements representing 33,000 sqm, all of which were secured in 2015. The property features a 3,291 sqm ‘grade A’ warehouse, with 12 passenger and 4 truck parking spaces, and 167 sqm for office space and social areas.
“Our strategy is to provide the right solution for our customers. The continued growth of Goodman Sence Logistics Centre demonstrates our ability to offer a complete property solution, ranging from our quality development services, regardless of the technical complexities, through to our active property management over the whole of the lease term,” commented Jan Palek, Goodman Country Manager Czech Republic and Slovakia.
JLL advised on the transaction. “Goodman Senec Logistics Centre is situated in one of the most sought after logistics locations in Slovakia. After a thorough analysis of the options proposed, Coindu chose an ideal match between the quality of development services, complex building solution and strategic location. Thanks to professionalism and flexibility of all parties, we managed to finalize the negotiations in the course of four months,” said Michaela Tomková, Consultant at JLL Slovakia.
