Goodman signs new lease with Zarys and starts construction of its Gliwice Logistics Centre – EuropaProperty

Zarys will lease 8,600 sqm of warehouse space and 500 sqm of office space at the new logistics centre, employing more than 100 people for the distribution of its products in Poland and Central & Eastern Europe. The new warehouse will enable Zarys to increase the scale of its operations and achieve further growth in the region.

“The lease of new warehouse and office space is the result of our company’s strong growth, the consistent implementation of our strategy and changes underway at Zarys. We will continue this trend in the coming years. While we are strongly focused on the Polish market, exports to neighbouring countries are becoming increasingly important. Therefore, the investment in new warehouse and office space will allow us to deliver the highest quality products to our customers faster, cheaper and with the optimal lead time,” said Paweł Ossowski, Business Development Manager of Zarys International Group.

Zarys and other customers at Goodman Gliwice Logistics Centre will take advantage of the technical and operational support of the Goodman property management team. The centre will also be covered by a special investment program designed by Goodman to maintain the facility in top condition.

The agreement enables us to develop a new, modern logistics centre in the important market of Upper Silesia,” said Błażej Ciesielczak, Goodman Regional Director for Central and Eastern Europe. “Given the strategic importance of the location, we have decided to launch another speculative project as part of this deal. This is the fifth speculative project of its kind Goodman has started in Poland.”

Goodman Gliwice Logistics Centre, with a target lease area of 51,000 sqm, is located within the Katowice Special Economic Zone, Gliwice Subzone, on national road 88 and has direct connection to the A1 and A4 motorways. Its excellent road infrastructure provides easy access to the following six European capital cities Berlin, Bratislava, Prague, Budapest, Vienna and Warsaw which are within a 600 km radius.

Goodman’s newest logistics centre in Gliwice, with Zarys as the first customer, is the Group’s second logistics park in the province of Silesia. Goodman also provides quality warehouse space at the Goodman Sosnowiec Logistics Centre, where a 25,800 sqm facility has already been built for the logistics company ILS, a member of the Inter Cars Group.
