HARDEN starts construction of Panattoni Park Szczecin Dunikowo

Harden Construction has started the construction of the Panattoni Park Szczecin Dunikowo distribution warehouse for a leading retailer. The building will cover over 53,000 sqm and will seek BREEAM certification at the highest possible level, OUTSTANDING. The planned completion of the investment is in the second quarter of 2025.

The investment is located 2 km from the A6 highway, which provides access to the airport in Goleniów, 32 km away, or to the German border, 26 km from the site. The park is being built in the Dunikowo Special Economic Zone (Szczecin Subzone SSE Euro-Park Mielec) – an industrial area designated for such facilities.  The project is being carried out in the design-build formula.

The investment is unique due to the very stringent fire protection requirements that must be met.

“The building being constructed by Harden Construction is not a standard facility. In addition to a complex structure, the building must meet very strict fire protection requirements, more stringent than Polish regulations. The requirements for the protection of all vertical partitions of the building are also higher. For this reason, prefabricated foundations with a height of 2.7 meters were used. One of the requirements is also the use of a foam extinguishing system due to the presence of a zone dedicated to the future storage of aerosol products,” says Łukasz Kozerski, Operations Director at Harden Construction.

“In this investment, sustainable development is very important. Therefore, in addition to a large green area and the use of eco-friendly heat sources, as many recycled materials as possible are used during construction. This minimizes the impact of the investment on the climate and the natural environment,” says Paweł Fiuczek, Managing Director at Harden Construction.
