In June this year, the Polish branch of the Industrial Bank of Korea will open its office on the top, 31st floor of the Warsaw Financial Center. The tenant was advised throughout the leasing process of the nearly 950 sqm office space by ITRA Polska.
Headquartered in Seoul, Industrial Bank of Korea is one of South Korea’s largest banks and is controlled by the government of the Republic of Korea. Its mission is to support small and medium-sized enterprises. In the autumn of 2024, the Polish Financial Supervision Authority granted permission to establish IBK Bank Polska S.A., which will commence operations for business clients with the opening of its office in the WFC.
“Warsaw Financial Center is a prestigious location in the very heart of the Central Business District, offering not only excellent working conditions but also proximity to key financial institutions. We are pleased that IBK Bank Polska S.A. will be headquartered here,” said Ji Wook Kim, EU Managing Director (Head of EU Operations), Industrial Bank of Korea.
ITRA Polska advised the bank in finding a suitable office space and completing the lease transaction.
“Industrial Bank of Korea was seeking a prestigious location among reputable international companies. Warsaw Financial Center is the perfect choice – it combines an excellent location, prestige, and spectacular views. The office on the 31st floor will offer not only a comfortable working environment but also a unique perspective on Warsaw’s skyline,” said Zlatina Mikołajczyk, Advisor in the Office Department at ITRA Polska.
“Warsaw Financial Center has been attracting renowned international institutions for years. The decision by IBK Bank Polska S.A. confirms that our building meets the highest expectations of financial sector tenants – both in terms of location and quality of space,” said Ewelina Nuszczyńska, Senior Leasing Manager, CPI Property Group.
