Sirin Development enhances quality and sustainability with ISO standards

Industrial real estate developer and manager Sirin Development has implemented the ISO Quality Management System Standard (9001) and the ISO Environmental Management System Standard (14001) and obtained the corresponding certifications. In this way, the company aims to enhance the quality of its management and service provision processes and to ensure its successful, focused development with a stable and competitive market position.

According to Sirin Development’s CEO, Laurynas Kuzavas, the implementation of ISO international standards at the company helps maintain the high quality of real estate management services, ensure faster development of warehouse facilities, keep rental prices competitive and contribute to mitigating harm to nature.

“Putting internal processes in order ensures clients get better service. Optimised processes eliminate unnecessary work and the potential for recurring errors, while more precisely defined responsibilities facilitate communication both within and among the company’s different units. This reduces operating costs and boosts the company’s sales. And following this standard empowers the organisation’s employees, engaging them in continuous quality improvement and increasing their efficiency, all of which ultimately translates into greater client satisfaction,” Kuzavas says.

Meanwhile, the environmental management system ISO standard guarantees a responsible approach to environmental issues. The management system that is in place helps protect the environment and use natural resources more efficiently. In addition to that standard, the company has also certified its portfolio of property holdings under the BREEAM international standard for sustainable buildings, which ensures that buildings have a smaller impact on nature and people through environmentally friendly and health-oriented property development and management.

Implementation of the ISO standards at Sirin Development took about 10 months and the quality of the company’s activities will be reviewed annually. The certification was carried out by UAB Sistemų Registras.
