Linklaters advises Griffin Real Estate on the EUR 52 million sale of two logistics buildings – EuropaProperty

Linklaters has advised Griffin Real Estate (acting on behalf of Redefine Properties, a leading South African Real Estate Investment Trust) on the sale of two A-Class logistics buildings with the total area of almost 77,000 sqm. The transaction also included the sale of plot of land on which a new warehouse building with the area of 22,407 sqm. is going to be developed. The buyer, Tritax Eurobox is a British investment company dedicated to Continental European logistics real estate. The value of the transaction amounted to ca. EUR 52 million.

Stryków, near Łódź in central Poland, is one of Poland’s largest logistics markets and a key logistics hub in the Central and Eastern European region. The centre is popular amongst blue-chip tenants due to its beneficial location in proximity to the intersection of the A1 and A2 motorways.

Jędrzej Pałka, associate from Linklaters’ Warsaw Real Estate Team, executed the deal, with the support of junior associates Małgorzata Szafrańska and Mateusz Korecki. The overall supervision over the deal was provided by Linklaters’ Warsaw managing partner Artur Kulawski.
