Developer Liebrecht & wooD has started construction of 89 new homes at Liziera de Lac, marking the next stage in the development of its premium residential community in eastern Bucharest. The first homes in this new phase are scheduled for handover in the third quarter of 2027.
Located near Cernica, around 20 minutes from the Pallady commercial area, Liziera de Lac was created to offer a new quality of residential living close to Bucharest, built around a strong connection with nature, excellent city connectivity and a high quality of life. The project brings together private homes and gardens, proximity to the lake and forest, and a comprehensive range of amenities and services. The long-term vision for Liziera de Lac Liziera is planned to comprise approximately 2,400 homes and accommodate around 10,000 residents.
From the outset, a key priority was to ensure that the infrastructure and amenities supporting everyday life were delivered from the first phase of the development. Liebrecht & wooD therefore made a significant upfront investment in the project’s infrastructure and community facilities. The first phase represents an investment of approximately €43 million, with all key amenities now completed and operational and more than 200 residents already living at Liziera de Lac.
The start of construction on the new phase marks the next step in the planned development of Liziera de Lac. Building permits have already been secured for more than 400 homes, providing a clear framework for the project’s phased expansion in line with its long-term vision.
