Maria Montessori Home is expanding its presence in Bucharest and will open its first kindergarten in the eastern part of the capital through a partnership with the residential complex Liziera de Lac.
“For more than ten years, Maria Montessori Home has grown alongside the families and children who have been part of our community. Opening our first kindergarten in eastern Bucharest is a natural next step for us and an opportunity to bring Montessori education closer to families in this part of the city. We chose Liziera de Lac because of its natural setting and the way it aligns with the principles of Montessori education, providing children with the space they need for independence, exploration, and learning through direct contact with the environment. The proximity to the lake and forest, the generous outdoor space, and the community of families growing here create the perfect setting for our new preschool. We are delighted to bring Maria Montessori Home to eastern Bucharest and become part of the Liziera de Lac community.”, says Iuliana Dima, Founder of Maria Montessori Home.
The opening of the kindergarten represents a new milestone in the development of Liziera de Lac’s infrastructure of services and amenities. This new educational facility completes the existing mix of amenities for residents.
“From the very beginning, our goal was to build Liziera de Lac as a place that offers residents more than just a home, focusing on amenities and services that truly add value to community life. Today, all the amenities promised for the first phase are fully functional, and residents have access to the LIDO by David Popovici semi-Olympic swimming pool, the fitness centre, sports fields, the café, the 24/7 convenience store, coworking spaces, and playgrounds. The opening of the Maria Montessori Home kindergarten completes this mix and marks the achievement of the final commitment we made for this phase of development. We are pleased to see that our vision has become a reality and is now part of the everyday life of the families who live here.”, says Patrick Van Den Bossche, Founder & Managing Director of Liebrecht & wooD.
