The shopping centre Mega Mall, owned by the South-African investment fund New Europe Property Investments and Real4You, has opened its doors. Situated near the National Arena, the most expected shopping centre in Bucharest is offering a new shopping and entertainment experience, with new shop concepts and exclusive collections, unique architecture and design, multiple entertainment options and interactive technologies.
The €165 million new mall is featuring over 220 commercial spaces and shops, which cover a full array of products and services, along with a new Carrefour hypermarket concept. Bucharest residents can enjoy a new Cinema multiplex of 14 digital cinema theatres, with the first 4Dx auditorium in the country, a World Class fitness centre with a Semi-Olympic pool and an over 10,000 sqm food court.
With a 230,000 sqm construction surface, Mega Mall is the largest shopping centre in Romania. The leasable area covers 72,000 sqm, of which 98 percent has already been occupied. Mega Mall is a 4 floor building with a 3,000 capacity parking lots divided on 6 levels, 1,000 of which are situated on the roof.
