Master Management Group entered 2023 with lease levels reaching almost 99 percent of the entire portfolio of retail facilities in Poland. The centres were visited by over 12 million customers in 2022, and new debuting brands appeared in shopping arcades in the regions. Successes were also noted in the office area managed by MMG.
“Last year, we focused our attention on strengthening the quality of the portfolio of brands present in the facilities managed by the Master Management Group. Consistent work on the development of the offer resulted in a steadily growing number of customers and increasing turnover. The first year after a series of lockdowns caused by the pandemic was also an opportunity to thoroughly analyze the operation of all centres, also in new, such difficult circumstances as war or inflation,” says Paul Kuśmierz, CEO of Master Management Group.
One of the leading events for clients of centres from the MMG portfolio turned out to be the debut of Douglas perfumery on the local markets in Kutno, Ełk and Oświęcim. The popular brand was very enthusiastically received by the inhabitants, gaining crowds of visitors. Perfumery debuted on a total area of 500 sqm. Modern stores of the Polish brand Ochnik have been opened in Ciechanów, Ełk and Kutno, with leather goods and clothes, occupying a total of over 460 sqm of retail space. Galeria Różana in Kutno will also gain a KFC restaurant, which under the contract signed at the end of last year, will be built in the immediate vicinity of the main entrance to the facility. The two-storey premises will have 300 sqm. Lease agreements for LPP group stores were also extended and extended in the popular centre.
“Efficient management of the diversified portfolio of Master Management Group facilities, bringing together various retail formats – from traditional malls, through hybrids, to small housing estate centres and retail parks – builds their value and competitive advantage in each location. Concentrating the full range of services in one place allows us to clearly set goals for each centre and consistently implement them, drawing on the experience and knowledge of our managers and business partners,” says Remigiusz Królikowski, Advisor to the Management Board at Master Management Group.
“Large network brands trust us in business terms, which is clearly shown by the experience of the past year, with contracts with Douglas, Ochnik, Half Price, the LPP group and KFC. We build a 100 percent quality portfolio of tenants, well-tailored to each location, meeting customer expectations and the potential of the place. This allows our tenants to generate satisfactory turnover and our customers to enjoy their shopping experience,” says Anna Polak, Head of Leasing at Master Management Group.
Many projects, such as Galeria Różana in Kutno, Centrum MMG in Ciechanów and Józefosław, as well as retail parks in Piekary and Szczecin ended the year with 100 percent occupancy. Individual stores in facilities managed by the Master Management Group invested in modern interiors based on the latest sales concepts. The façades and passages of the buildings themselves were also renovated. Marketing activities referred to communication with local communities, and popular city events or even theatre festivals were invited to commercial spaces.
A successful 2022 also belongs to the modern Hi Piotrkowska office building in Łódź, managed by the Master Management Group. It is a facility combining two office buildings with an area of 21,000 sqm, a retail space of 5,000 sqm and a hotel in the very centre of the city. Last year, contracts for a total area of 6,000 sqm were signed there.
This year, the tenants of the office building will be joined by a world leader in lighting for professionals and consumers – Signify, which will occupy an area of 2,800 sqm. The company is moving its European Settlement Center to the Hi Piotrkowska complex, where over 200 people will work. This summer, two floors of the tallest office building in the city will be occupied by 550 employees of Sii – a leader in IT, engineering and BPO services in Poland, who will carry out projects for clients from around the world from Łódź. They will occupy an area of 2,400 sqm.
