P3 to extend VF Corporation’s European distribution hub at its Prague D8 logistics park – EuropaProperty

Pan-European logistics real estate owner P3 has signed an agreement to develop a 23,445 sqm tailor-made building next to VF Corporation’s existing 40,000 sqm premises at the D8 logistics park to the North of Prague. The deal comes just eight months after P3 completed the 40,000 sqm Phase 1 warehouse for the company and will take VF’s total representation at P3 Prague D8 to over 106,000 sqm.

Construction of the extension has just started with completion scheduled for April 2016. It will provide VF, owner of premium lifestyle retail brands including VANS, The North Face, Wrangler and Timberland, with an additional 19,869 sqm of warehousing and 3,576 sqm of offices.

VF initially moved on to P3’s D8 in 2004 and has since made the park one of the main hubs in the company’s European distribution network. The need for additional space comes in the wake of the corporation’s continued expansion in Europe.

Like the existing facility, the new building will be built to BREEAM “very good” certification standards, incorporating a number of innovative energy saving and environmentally sustainable features, whilst making it a pleasant environment for employees to work in.

P3’s D8 Prague logistic park is located close to Exit 1 of the D8 motorway that links the Czech Republic to Dresden and Berlin. The park also has direct connections to Prague’s public transport system. D8 is one of 14 warehouse facilities in the Czech Republic owned by P3, which is a specialist developer, investor and manager of logistics space across Europe.
