Golub GetHouse together with Warbud, the general contractor, have topped out PRIME Corporate Center, an office building at Grzybowska 78 in Wola district of Warsaw. It took just over 14 months since the ground-breaking to complete the construction of the 96-meter-high structure. The office building will be commissioned for use in Q1 2016.
The official ceremony was attended by Jacek Wojciechowicz, the Deputy Mayor of Warsaw, as well as representatives of Golub GetHouse as the investor, Warbud as the general contractor, and Raiffeisen Polbank, which will move its headquarters to PRIME Corporate Center in mid-2016.
“Building for Raiffeisen Polbank is a huge honour, but also a huge challenge. I would like to express my gratitude to all companies involved in constructing PRIME Corporate Center for the work they have done so far. I am convinced that together we will create a building that is fully modern, comfortable and user-friendly,” said Czarek Jarząbek, CEO of Golub GetHouse.
“We have just finished the building’s shell, which has included the construction of slurry walls 36 meters deep, strutted to meet a variety of requirements. We have also erected the five under-ground floors and the entire over-ground structure. For each of the storeys, each with a surface of 950 sqm, the construction only took 4 working days. Work on site is proceeding smoothly and on schedule. It is important to note that this would not have been possible if not for the excellent cooperation with the investor,” added Wojciech Gerber, Member of the Board at Warbud.
The installation of the glazed façade of the building reaches half its height and is to be finished in October 2015. Intensive finishing works of the office space and common areas are under way inside the tower. In mid-July, a 20-ton power generator, as well as the air-conditioning units, will be installed on the roof, while its steel structure will be completed by the end of August.
“The new headquarters of Raiffeisen Polbank means significant cost synergies thanks to consolidating various locations across Warsaw. Cost reductions will also benefit from the use of innovative and environmentally-friendly technologies within the building. Equally important are the newest solutions making our office space welcoming and functional, which will allow us to create even more comfortable working conditions. These should result in improving execution of employee tasks and all internal processes. We are very satisfied with the final effect that wouldn’t be possible without great cooperation based on partnership between our bank, the developer and the general contractor,” commented Ryszard Drużyński, Vice President of the Board at Raiffeisen Polbank.
Raiffeisen Polbank will occupy over 95 percent of the building’s available space, including the entire retail space located on the ground floor. PRIME Corporate Center will offer a total of 20 148 sqm GLA.
PRIME Corporate Center was designed by the architects of Solomon Cordwell Buenz from Chicago, in local cooperation with architecture firm Epstein. The investment is constructed in line with the BREEAM “Very Good” certification standards.
During the lease negotiation process, the investor was represented by Savills agency, and Colliers International assisted the tenant.
