SymLog, a global forwarding company, has leased warehouse space at City Logistics Warsaw III Panattoni. The tenant was represented in the transaction by Colliers International, a leading commercial real estate advisory company.
So far, SymLog has focused mainly on international forwarding, but with the development, it has expanded its offer to include warehousing services. After the analysis of warehouse locations made by Colliers, the tenant decided to choose a facility within the borders of Warsaw.
“We are glad that we could help SymLog in such an important and breakthrough decision for their business. Warehouses are currently enjoying great interest, it is the most dynamically developing branch of the real estate market, resistant to the economic turmoil caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. With such high demand and limited supply in a particular location, choosing a facility that meets high-quality requirements and is available within a reasonable budget, is a big challenge,” says Maciej Cieliczko, Associate Director in the Industrial and Logistics Agency at Colliers International.
“In connection with the development of our company and the need to improve quality and develop logistics services, we were looking for modern space in an attractive urban location. Our expectations were met by Panattoni’s park – City Logistics Warsaw III, both in terms of the specification of the facility and its location, near the ring road and the Warsaw West junction connecting S8 with national road 92,” says Bartosz Miszkiewicz, President of the Board at SymLog.
The City Logistics Warsaw III logistics centre consists of two modern A-class buildings with a total area of over 24,000 sqm. The Panattoni project offers flexible warehouse and office modules in an attractive location, close to the Warsaw West junction and not far from the city centre.
“Warehouses in cities are no longer a trend, but a real need visible all over the world. It is generated, for example, by the dynamic development of the e-commerce industry, as well as urbanisation and the gradual shift of population from rural to urban areas. Therefore, the location of the facility in the immediate vicinity of the city makes it much easier to distribute goods at the final stage of the so-called last mile,” comments Olga Wałkiewicz, Senior Development Manager at Panattoni.
