Corwin Secures Generali as Anchor Tenant in Ljubljana
Generali has signed on as the anchor tenant for 7,700 sqm in Corwin’s Vilharia office complex in Ljubljana. The project, 60% complete, is part of a revitalization of the city’s central station area. Vilharia will be the first office building in Ljubljana to achieve LEED Platinum certification, with ambitions for carbon-neutral status.
“As the completion of the building looms closer, we are seeing increasing demand for office and retail space within Vilharia, which will soon become the home of some of the most prestigious and innovative brands on the market,” said Michal Maco, country manager of Corwin Slovenia.
Reico Adds Residential Project to Portfolio
Reico ČS Nemovitostní fund is expanding into residential rental properties with the purchase of the Nový Opatov G1 project in Prague. The building will feature 170 apartments. This marks the fund’s first venture into residential development, adding to its existing portfolio of 20 properties across the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland.
“As part of the future direction of the fund, we have decided to spread the risks over another segment of the real estate market, namely residential housing for rent,” says Dušan Sýkora, Chairman of the BoD at Reico IS ČS.
ELI Completes Two Warehouses in Silesia
European Logistics Investment (ELI) has finished constructing two new warehouses in Silesia, Poland. One, in Knurów, spans 35,000 sqm and is leased to Fortaco Group, creating 200 jobs. The second, in Ruda Śląska, is a 16,000 sqm facility leased by Konimpex. Both locations offer excellent access to major highways and are aiming for high environmental certifications. These projects reflect the growing importance of Silesia in European logistics.
