Warsaw Research Forum expands its activities and changes name into Polish Office Research Forum – EuropaProperty

The former Warsaw Research Forum has been renamed the Polish Office Research Forum (PORF) and expanded its portfolio to analyses of the major office markets outside Warsaw.

Members of the Forum are leading real estate consultancies. The Forum was first founded in 2000 by CBRE, Colliers International, Cushman & Wakefield, DTZ and JLL, and was subsequently extended in 2010 to include Knight Frank and Savills.

The key objective of the Polish Office Research Forum (PORF) is to maintain a real estate transparency in the office market. This is achieved by collecting and sharing the concise data on the office space on a quarterly basis. The data which is collected and made public on an aggregate level encompasses: office space demand (i.e. lease transactions), office market vacancy and new office space completions. As a result the final analyses are consistent and based on the reliable, verified, complex market data.
The Forum which to date has been entirely focused on Warsaw data, will also now cover other leading office markets in Poland, which is reflected in the renaming.

At the same time, a new set of rules has been agreed to between the PORF members to introduce more discipline and sanction misconduct.
