Craft, the latest project from Belgian developer Ghelamco in Katowice, has received an occupancy permit and added 26,700 sqm of A-class office space to the local market. The 55-meter-high, 13-storey structure gives tenants access to six terraces, one of which is located on the roof of the building, providing a unique view of the city skyline. The design of the office building was developed by the Czora & Czora Architectural Studio in Katowice.

The advantage of the investment, the construction of which started at the end of 2020, is its location in the heart of Katowice, right next to the Silesia City Center. Numerous tram and bus connections as well as bicycle paths ensure excellent communication between the office building and other parts of the metropolis.
Craft will be able to boast a SmartScore certificate, confirming the highest standard of intelligent solutions. In addition, it will be the first in Katowice to be assessed in terms of technological advancement in the WiredScore system. The Ghelamco investment will also be certified in the ecological BREEAM system at the Excellent, WELL and “Building without barriers” levels.
Out of concern for the health and comfort of tenants, Craft’s interiors are additionally equipped with anti-pandemic solutions, such as viral UV lamps in elevators and ventilation units. In addition, the office building has charging stations for electric cars, as well as a parking lot for bicycles with facilities – changing rooms and showers. There are 218 parking spaces in the underground garage and an additional 28 in front of the building.
