Hotspot, an established office space operator in Bucharest focused on hybrid work solutions, has expanded its Hotspot Workhub concept within The Mark by an additional 700 sqm in response to growing demand for flexible office space from both local and international companies. The new area will support the expansion of existing tenants while also welcoming new occupiers to the Hotspot ecosystem. The project was delivered in collaboration with REC Immpuls, a specialist in office fit-outs.
Recently, Hotspot signed a new partnership with GLS Romania, an established logistics and courier services company.
“GLS Romania has always maintained an active presence in Bucharest through our field teams and local partnerships. The opening of this new office represents a natural step in strengthening our operations in the Capital. We were looking for a space that would support collaboration, flexibility, and the dynamic pace of our teams, and Hotspot responded very well to these needs, providing an environment that allows us to maintain and develop the high-quality standards of our services,” said Marius Gancea, Sales Division Manager, GLS
The new lease comes at a time when the office market is undergoing one of the most significant periods of transformation in recent years, with companies becoming much more selective in their choice of workspaces, and criteria such as operational flexibility, location, service quality, technological infrastructure, and the employee experience have begun to carry as much weight as cost or leased area. In this context, the premium flexible workspace model continues to gain traction among international companies looking for solutions operated at standards comparable to those of a traditional corporate headquarters.
“Our partnership with GLS Romania represents an important validation for us, both in terms of the standard we have established at Hotspot as well as the way in which the coworking concept is evolving today. We observe that this type of space is no longer perceived exclusively as a temporary solution for startups or small teams, but is becoming a strategic option even for international companies that want to offer a premium experience for their employees,” said Cristina Dumitrescu, Business Development Director, Hotspot.
Hotspot operates two locations in Bucharest, Hotspot Workhub and Hotspot Skyhub, both developed within premium office buildings located in central areas of the city. The concept was built around a model that combines next-generation office infrastructure, contractual flexibility and integrated services in a format adapted to modern ways of working.
Cristina Dumitrescu added: “The high occupancy rate and tenant retention level of approximately 99% reflect both the stability of the community we have built around Hotspot and our constant focus on the quality of the experience delivered to our tenants. We increasingly see companies expanding their presence within Hotspot as their local teams grow, confirming that flexible premium workspaces are becoming a strategic solution for mature and dynamic organisations.”
