Foksal 13/15 is a new prestigious and luxurious residential project address in Warsaw. The investor, Ghelamco, has just presented two fully furnished and ready-to-buy model apartments. These apartments combine global design trends with timeless classics. The Tremend studio is responsible for their design and finishing and has invited renowned brands such as NOTI, NURT Home, MAXFLIZ and MAG Gallery to carry out the project.
Located on the Royal Route, the Foksal 13/15 tenement buildings are considered to be the most spectacular revitalisation projects in Warsaw. The two 19th century buildings are among the few to have survived the Second World War almost intact, preserving a plethora of detail and decoration from the belle époque era in their interiors. They have currently regained their former glory and are bustling with life once again, as most of the 55 apartments have already been sold.
“Foksal Townhouses are architectural jewels on the map of the capital city, and an important part of its history, which we would like to co-create as a responsible developer. When renovating the townhouses, we spared no expense in taking care of even the smallest details. The interiors of the apartments presented today have been designed with respect for the history of the place, and at the same time with the needs of their current users in mind,” says Jeroen van der Toolen, Ghelamco’s Managing Director for Central and Eastern Europe.
The interior design project was prepared by Tremend, which took care of the stylish combination of elegance and modernity. The project was based on high, light-flooded interiors, as well as the original flooring, restored and laid according to the original pattern.
“When arranging the interiors of Foksal Apartments, we opted for high-quality materials to fully emphasise the prestige of this location. This is why the built-in kitchen furniture is finished with a precious wood veneer so that it retains its natural charm and satin softness. The velvet upholstery fabrics used for the headboards introduce a palace-like, warm style and refer to the curtains made of the same fabric. The bathrooms include natural-coloured stone cladding, as well as furniture and equipment combining functionality with design,” says architect Magdalena Federowicz-Boule, president and creative director of the Tremend studio responsible for the interior design of the Foksal 13/15 apartments.
The Foksal 13/15 project consists of two townhouses, therefore each of the apartments has been arranged in a different building. The apartment in the Foksal 15 townhouse is maintained in bright colours, has 3-metre-high ceilings, and has an area of 116 sqm. It consists of a spacious living room with large sliding windows, two bathrooms, two bedrooms and a separate kitchen. Windows on both sides – especially those facing the south side, which is the newly added part of the building – make it perfectly illuminated. The designers have opted for light white fabrics, bright furniture and golden accessories that add warmth and a slightly feminine atmosphere. Subdued colours and soft fabrics in the bedrooms encourage relaxation and present a contemporary interpretation of the rococo boudoir.
The second apartment, located at Foksal 13, has over 131 sqm, 3.35-metre-high ceilings and faces south. The central area has a living room and a large dining room connected to the kitchen. In addition, you will find a study and a king-size bedroom, with its own bathroom, including a free-standing bathtub and a large window.
The styling is based on authentic oak parquet floors, while the ceilings feature stucco and rosettes reproduced during the renovation of the townhouses. These details combined with the foregoing apartment height provide it with the typical atmosphere of an elegant townhouse, while the dark veneered furniture ensures a more refined and distinguished character.
More than 80 percent of the apartments at Foksal 13/15 have already found their owners. In addition to the two presented turnkey apartments, there are only a few left on offer with areas ranging from 79 sqm to 227 sqm.
There are numerous amenities available for residents, enhancing this luxury project, including a private spa, rooftop terrace with relaxation area, and concierge services. Guest rooms to offer a place for an overnight stay for relatives or business partners visiting the apartments’ owners are an unprecedented solution.
In addition, the townhouses also include four service properties, with areas ranging from 66 to 180 sqm. It is a perfect location for a law firm or private banking office or an exclusive boutique.
Renovation of the Foksal townhouses was awarded the Architectural Award of the President of the Capital City of Warsaw for the best project of the year 2021, winning the public vote as the first residential investment in the history of the competition.
