Harden builds a factory for Samsung Electronics  

General contractor Harden Construction has completed a modern production and warehouse hall for Samsung Electronics – a facility with an area of over 60,000 sqm. The factory will house new lines for the production of household appliances.

“This facility, due to its purpose and the technological solutions introduced, required us to learn very precisely about the specific nature of the future activities that will be conducted there. We had to carefully plan every centimetre of the hall and mezzanine area, define its purpose and assign a floor type so that it met the requirements of a specific technology and had appropriate load-bearing capacity. We are satisfied that we have successfully achieved this investment’s design and engineering challenges,” said Paweł Fiuczek, Managing Director at Harden Construction.

“The possibility of implementing such a demanding investment is confirmation that we have a wide range of various solutions and functionalities that we can flexibly adapt to the specific needs of the client. In the case of this facility, we are only apparently implementing a standard project. In practice, it is unique and specific, filled with various dedicated solutions that are intended to ensure the highest efficiency of use. If the investor expects a specific solution, we will offer it to him,” added Łukasz Kozerski, Operations Director at Harden Construction.

The facility is set to obtain a BREEAM EXCELLENT certificate.
