HB Reavis has signed two new lease agreements for a total of 13,000 sqm of office space. Konstruktorska Business Center gained a new tenant, the global company MoneyGram International, which will occupy the entire sixth floor of over 7,300 sqm. A large public sector institution will move into the Gdański Business Center complex, occupying over 5,600 sqm.
MoneyGram leased the entire sixth floor at Konstruktorska Business Center, over 7,300 sqm of office space in total, to create an international management centre, operating on a global scale. Knight Frank represented MoneyGram in the negotiation process.
“Such a prestigious tenant as MoneyGram is a great honour for us. The company has chosen Konstruktorska Business Center because it offers one of the largest office floors in Europe. For a global company like MoneyGram, which will service from Poland clients all over the world, the most important criteria was office space fulfilling all technical requirements and providing its employees with the most friendly work environment possible,” said Sylwia Piechnik, Senior Leasing Manager at HB Reavis, responsible for the transaction.
“One reason we chose to open our new Global Business Center in Warsaw was the reception we have received from the Polish people and HB Reavis was no exception,” said Luke Wimer, MoneyGram’s executive vice president of global operations. “We are pleased to be operating our new Global Business Center in such a top-notch facility. The positive business climate and availability of high-quality talent made our decision to locate in Warsaw easy, and we are excited to work with HB Reavis in creating our newest MoneyGram office.”
Konstruktorska Business Center is located in the business section of Mokotów, Warsaw. The seven-storey building offers 48,000 sqm of leasable space in total, with 1,050 parking spaces in the underground parking lot. Tenants appreciate the functional space, the ability to arrange the space in line with individual needs, as well as numerous work-life balance facilities. There are two green patios of over 3,200 sqm inside the complex, creating convenient relaxation zones. Companies such as have already chosen the building: Procter & Gamble, Grupa Żywiec, Otis, Carrier, Comperia.pl and IMS Health.
Gdański Business Center has also gained a new tenant. A large public sector institution will move into building B, newly commissioned for use in March of this year, occupying 5,600 sqm. This contract confirms the new phenomenon on the Polish real estate market, that is the migration of public institutions from older premises into modern A Class office buildings.
The first stage of the Gdański Business Center complex includes two buildings offering 46,500 sqm of office space in total. Ultimately, that number will reach 98,000 sqm, when the currently on-going second stage of the investment is completed. The location of the complex, at the junction of Andersa and Inflancka streets, near important transport hubs, is its major asset, as it guarantees easy and fast access both by car and by public transport from all Warsaw districts.
